What would being a moderator mean to me and why would I want it?
Well, it would give me a chance to give a little bit of help to someone who has helped, though not quite in the same way!
Also, it would mean that I could try to ensure that the forum remains free from unwanted people/comments.

Powers:
The ability to move, lock and delete threads if they are in the wrong place or have undesirable comments in. Issue warnings and ban members if they break the rules. Check ip addresses to make sure users are not trying to cause havoc by posting unwanted comments with an alt.
